sparkWe had a great time at the Venture Cafe last night. Carrie was kind enough to open the doors for us, provide us with delicious beers and set up a fantastic venue. If you've never been to the Venture Cafe or the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) for that matter you need to check it out! It is the hub for small startups in the Boston area and provides some of the best views in the city.

scoopcartThis month we had Phil Han pitching his company ScoopCart to Rob Go of Spark Capital. Phil has been pulling this company together for a few months now but it has been incredible to see the evolution of it, from even two days ago when he was pitching at BarCamp Boston.

If you haven't heard of Spark then you must not have heard of Twitter or Tumblr either (a few of their portfolio companies). Spark prides itself on investing in entrepreneurs who have outrageous ideas that disrupt markets with great opportunities. Their sweet spot is investing in companies who create innovative technologies ready to meet the transforming world of media and content.

Let's see if Phil has what it takes to get the attention of Rob Go with ScoopCart!
